Griffin Hall - The only non-residential hall at ANU

Griffin Hall - The first of its kind

Griffin Hall is the first of its kind and only non-residential hall within Australia. It was founded in 2010 by a group of local Canberran students to provide those not living on campus with the hall experience and access friendships and opportunities typically not available to off-campus students. Since then, it has evolved into a vibrant community of off-campus students from the Canberra region, across Australia and beyond.

Our unique community strives to be inclusive, welcoming and a place to call home on campus. Come join us to gain lifelong friendships, and experience university life from the comfort of your own home!

We acknowledge that Griffin Hall exists on the traditional lands of the Ngunnawal and Ngambri peoples, and we pay respect to Elders, past, present and emerging. We extend a warm welcome to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and value their contribution to the hall.
