About the scheme

The Information Publication Scheme (IPS) requires ANU to make publicly available operational information and information disclosed under the Act. In accordance with Section 8(1) of the FOI Act, ANU's IPS plan can be accessed here:

ANU already publishes a high volume of operational information through its website. The IPS section of this site contains links to information that is available and commonly requested.

About the University

Who we are

Paragraphs 8(2)(b) and 8(2)(d) of the FOI Act require ANU to publish information about the organisation and structure of the University, including the University Executive, ANU College academic structure, corporate and academic governance and the current ANU Enterprise Agreement. Fees & charges

We may charge a person for accessing any IPS document which is impracticable to publish online.

If we charge a person it is:

• at the lowest reasonable cost
• to reimburse the University for specific reproduction costs or other specific incidental costs (as per s 8D(4) of the FOI Act).

Any charges imposed will be consistent with charges in the , which generally apply to access requests under Part III of the FOI Act.

Complaint handling

If you are unhappy with the University regarding any aspect of the IPS, you can complain to the Australian Information Commissioner who may undertake further investigations. More information is available on the
