Are you ready for 2023?

24 Jan 2023

Say hello to 2023 and starting a new year at ANU!

While we still have a fewweeks of summer break left, it's time to start thinking about coming back to uni.

Whether you're a first-year student or a seasoned pro, having a plan to come back to uni sets you up for a successful year

Ben Yates, your 2023 ANUSA President, emphasises the value of getting organised early.

"The beginning of the year can be hectic. Mark the big dates in your calendar. Enrol early and sort your timetable out as soon as possible. If you have any difficulty, you can reach out to ANUSA's Student Assistance Team or ANU Student Central," Ben said.

"If you're a first-year student, O-Week is a busy time. My best advice is tohave a plan for the week but also make time to enjoy the pandemonium. ANUSA is running BBQs through the week to keep you fuelled. O-Week has something for everyone but don't feel like you have to go for everything. Take the time to find your community, whether it is around your studies, your hobbies, your background or your interests."
